Well I made it through the last Christmas party (and bingo at my sister in laws). We do this every year and she serves the same thing every year – lasagna. Thankfully she did serve vegetables as well. I can’t say I did super, but I think I some how managed to stay within my calorie goals. I didn’t workout yesterday as Sunday is my rest day. I wore my new size small workout pants to the gym today and can you say I was self conscious! I have no idea why I was so self conscious. They fit fine and I actually think I looked good in them, but I think others who have been fat can relate on this one. I just wanted to wear a big baggy shirt and hide all my flaws which most of the flaws are only things I notice. On a positive note, my pants weren’t falling off of me during my workout so all is good in the world. I had a good workout and had a good day today. I can’t believe how close I am to my goal now. I just want to get there. If I get into the 130s next weigh in I’m going to take new pics – I think. If not I should be there, hopefully, the weigh in after that.

It can get pretty frustrating around this time of year, nobody else ever seems interested in staying healthy. Personally, I try not to worry about it too much. Any harm done can easily be undone!
What is your target, if you don’t mind me asking?
My goal s 22% body fat or better. I’m aiming for 125, but if I hit 22% body fat before I reach 125 then I will probably stop there. It just kind of depends on what my weight is at my goal body fat.
I like the fact that you picked a percentage of body fat instead of a number on the scale! It’s all about being healthy, fit and feeling good! Nice goal! And thanks for the encouragement today!
I hope you reach your goal with this weigh in! I’m going for a BF% as well. I’m well above what I should be for % based on my weight.
It’s always nice to get new workout clothes! I can’t wait for the snow to be gone so I can get new running outfits, or hopefully at least fit into the old ones again. It’s been too long!
Ah, I’m not getting my body fat officially checked again until February I think, but maybe I’ll do it sooner. I’ve kind of been loosely using measurements and an online body fat calculator and if it looks like I am close then I’ll get it done sooner.
